Most pump problems are not sudden. A filter left too long, oil past its service life, vanes worn a few millimetres beyond spec: the pump keeps running, just harder, hotter and less efficiently, until the day it does not. The parts that prevent that are the cheapest items in the whole plant.

Consumables and Spares
The parts that keep a pump inside its duty rather than dragging it out of tolerance:
- Filters, inlet and exhaust. A blocked exhaust filter raises back pressure, which raises running temperature, which shortens the life of everything downstream of it.
- Oil, correct grade for the pump and the duty. The wrong oil in an oil sealed pump is a slow, expensive mistake.
- Vanes, the wear part in any rotary vane pump, dry or oil lubricated. Replace them on measurement, not on guesswork.
- Selected spares across the makes we carry.

Ways to Get the Right Pump Without Buying New
New is not the only answer, and often not the best one.
- Refurbished pumps. Dry rotary vane, oil lubricated and side channel blowers overhauled in our own workshops. Claw and roots pumps can be brought back to original specification.
- Trade-in assist. Your old unit carries value towards the replacement.
- Rental and loan units. For seasonal peaks, for a trial before committing, or to keep production going while yours is in for overhaul.
- Finance options on new equipment and systems.
Service Programmes
A maintenance plan puts your pumps on a fixed service interval, quoted per machine on the equipment and the duty it runs. It covers scheduled servicing and overhauls, a loan unit free of charge while your pump is out, one operator training session a year on daily and weekly checks, and advice on the vacuum application itself.
