CE is the mark most people recognise. The EAC mark is less familiar outside the region it belongs to, and it tells you something different: that the product has been declared against the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The Wordfik oil lubricated vacuum pump range carries one, registration number EAEU N RU D-CN.RA11.B.05217/25.

The Two Technical Regulations
TR CU 010/2011, machinery and equipment safety
This is the Eurasian equivalent in purpose to the European Machinery Directive: it sets safety requirements for machinery and equipment placed on the market in the union. It covers the design of the machine, the hazards it presents in use, and the documentation that has to accompany it.
TR CU 020/2011, electromagnetic compatibility
Same principle as the European EMC rules. Equipment must not emit electrical interference beyond set limits, and must keep functioning in the presence of interference from equipment around it.
Tested, Not Just Declared
The declaration is not a self assessment on its own. It rests on a test protocol, number DIL78-06100, issued by an accredited testing laboratory, and the declaration scheme used is 1d, which applies to serial production.
The supporting standards named on the document are worth reading as a group:
- GOST 30804.6.2-2013, immunity to electromagnetic interference for equipment used in industrial zones.
- GOST IEC 61000-6-4-2016, the emission standard for industrial environments.
- GOST 12.2.007.0-75, occupational safety standards for electrical products, covering general safety requirements.
- GOST 12.2.003-91, general safety requirements for production equipment.
Two of those mirror the industrial EMC pair used in the European assessment. A manufacturer that passes both sets is not tuning a product for one market and hoping for the best in another.
Which Models Are Covered
The declaration names the oil sealed range: PVX16, PVX25, PVX25D, PVX40, PVX63, PVX100, PVX140, PVX150, PVX160, PVX202, PVX250, PVX302, PVX630, PVX750, then PSV4, PSV8, PSV16, PSV24, PSV30, PSV50, PSV70, PSV90, and the VLG range from VLG400 through to VLG5100.
These are the workhorses: vacuum packing, thermoforming, degassing, vacuum drying, CNC and woodworking hold down, and central vacuum systems.
Why a South African Buyer Should Care About a Eurasian Certificate
Directly, you do not need it. TR CU regulations apply in the Eurasian Economic Union, not in South Africa, where your duties come from the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations. Nobody here will ask to see this document.
Indirectly, it tells you something useful about the manufacturer.
Getting a product into a regulated market means submitting to that market’s rules, its testing laboratories and its record keeping. Doing it for two separate regulatory blocs, with the European assessment covering the oil free range and the Eurasian one covering the oil lubricated range, means the manufacturer is not selling into unregulated markets only.
That is a reasonable proxy for how a factory operates. It is not a guarantee of anything, and it should not be sold as one. It is one input among several, alongside the warranty, the spares availability and whether anyone local can actually service the pump.
The Other Two Certificates
This range carries three separate certifications. The other two are covered here:
- CE certification on vacuum pumps, and what FQC2533107 covers
- Machinery Directive Annex VIII, and the technical file behind the range
On That Last Point
A certificate is worth very little if the pump is a container ship away from support. Just Pumps is the exclusive authorised Wordfik distributor for South Africa, which means local stock, local spares and a local service team.
See the Wordfik range, read about the distributor appointment, or contact us with your duty and we will size the pump.
